Gambling Addiction Treatment
Gambling is a usually thought of as a harmless socially acceptable activity. Since it is so common and so socially acceptable, it is often hard to tell if the activity has turned into harmful compulsive gambling.
Gambling addiction is called an action addiction, in which the gambler’s drug is self-produced.
Gambling disease affects everyone that has a disposition to compulsive and addictive behaviors, whether you are a Bingo Player, casino gambler, or have sports betting problems the solutions are the same.
All gambling produces adrenalin ( the fight or flight drug )and endorphins, self-produced by your own bodies reaction to the risk taken. The body in turn becomes tolerant and familiar with the drug as it is repeated Therefore compulsive gamblers need to experience a greater risk – higher bet – to get the same high.
Root causes need to be addressed for long-term success.

This website is about recovery – not making money – but it wouldn’t hurt to pay a few web hosting charges if you decided to visit one of the sponsors ads… I have kept outside ads to a minimum so it’s not so frustrating to read. Hate those pages with an ad between every paragraph.
Have a great One Day at a Time! Dean 🙂
